about

Probably the cleanest track here. A series of open
chords on the guitar and a voice accompanied by a
female choir. Between power and restraint, the song,
captured live, delivers a sincere emotion: the fear
of emptiness when everything has already begun
to collapse. The tension on the chorus reminds us
of this perilous balance, this gravity from which it is
impossible to escape.

lyrics

Like a bird flying off in circles
You wonder if the pouring rain will ever cease
Did the lake in the valley overflow
'Remember when you and I were diving

Fool, such a funny way
To lose the balance
Oh it is too late
I will not jump

High water mark above my shoulders
You wonder when the pouring rain finally ceased
Did the cave in the valley over fall down
The monster came for you and I was saying

Fool, such a funny way
To lose the balance
Oh it is too late
I will not jump

Great Men With No Fear Brussels, Belgium

From his home studio, Frederic Laval, Bordeaux native singer-songwriter, observes and translates his emotions into sounds, metaphors, little stories tinged with folk melodies that are necessarily a little melancholic.
